It's been two weeks since we released our brand new single Losing Touch and we've been blown away by the response. Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to check out the track, share it with a pal or add it to your playlist. Here's some highlights of press coverage we've gotten since the release.
"After launching in late-2016, Atlas Run have gone from strength to strength. In 2017, they released their debut EP, ‘Depths’ which helped to secure a nomination for the Best of British Unsigned Band Award.
Now with their first single of 2018, Atlas Run sits perfectly at three minutes and has an infectious build up about the pressures of a strained relationship.
‘Losing Touch’ breaks out into an anthemic indie-rock sound with a groovy and danceable beat matched with soft and emphatic make this track a complete all-rounder."
"Following the release of last year's debut EP ‘Depths’, Glaswegian quartet Atlas Run now bring their penchant for crafting intimate lyrics with soaring melodies, layered instrumentation and distinctly Scottish vocals to new single ‘Losing Touch’."
Fancy Melancholic added the single to their Indie/Alt 2018 Playlist, so you can hear us alongside a bunch of other great bands there.
We were also featured BBC Radio nan Gaidheal for the first time, with Losing Touch being the Track of the Week on the RAPAL show. Again, lots of great tracks on here so do check it out (it might help if you speak Gaelic unlike us.)
Finally, the main man, champion of New Scottish Music Jim Gellatly made Losing Touch his track of the week which we're delighted by. Cheers Jim!
